Intelligence is...
"To some, intelligence is the ability to acquire new information and to adjust to
new circumstances, while others regard the skills to solve complex problems as
more important," but many can agree the general intelligence can be measured by the factors of: verbal comprehension, verbal fluidity, mathematical ability, memory, speed of perception, reasoning skills and spatial visualization. Generally if a person scores highly on one part of factor analysis it coordinates highly to other parts due to their intelligence. There are many different aspects of intelligence, aspects of successful intelligence are analytical intelligence, creative intelligence, and practical intelligence.

Intelligence is Not...
People often have misconceptions about intelligence, such as a persons intelligence level is fixed and can't change, which is untrue, a person can gain knowledge and forget knowledge. People also become dismayed and think it is impossible to become more intelligent, but intelligence is fluent, the person just simple has to keep it up to become better. Many people believe Intelligence can't be tested or the test don't properly capture a persons intelligence, which isn't true, there are many test (the most common is the IQ test.) Although one can never truly measure a persons IQ, these test supply a clean picture of a persons potential.
